Perched atop a hill with long views west over a vineyard valley, this existing house was in need of repair and rebuilding. The homeowner, a former interior designer, and her husband led the charge with most of the house improvements. In need of teamwork to tackle the main spaces, SESSA + WADLUND Design Studio was employed to reorganize and design the new kitchen, living room, and dining room area. The former kitchen was awkwardly situated in the center of living and dining areas, in direct view upon entry. Switching the kitchen and dining spaces allowed the dining to be centered on the entry aligned with the fireplace and view beyond. By SESSA + WADLUND Design Studio
